The one thing I hate about working in the legal field is that boring business suits seem to be a requirement. Don't get me wrong, as an aspiring attorney I understand that I must wear them (at least in court), but as a lady who lives for fashion I just hate them. They're expensive and they're often not as versatile as I prefer. So, as an alternative, I buy separates. After all, who says that you have to wear a suit in order to look professional?
On Thursday, I wore this fabulous printed Michael Kors cold shoulder plus-size top with a tiered skirt and simple Jessica Simpson pumps. I really love this skirt because the tiers add a little bit of flare to an otherwise simple pencil skirt. I wasn't planning to post this outfit, but so many of my law school peers complimented me and requested that I post it. So here you go.
